Vespa Club of America
The Vespa Club of America (VCOA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, restoring and preserving European motor scooters. Since approximately 70% of them sold in the United States were Vespas, most members are Vespisti. However, many prefer Lambrettas. Some favor other models, such as Heinkels or Zundapp Bellas. As you can see, despite its emphasis on Vespa, the VCOA welcomes anyone interested in European marquees.
The VCOA publishes a quarterly magazine which shares member stories and experiences and articles with mostly technical and historical bents.
Membership restrictions: Our club is open to any and all people who are interested in Vintage, mostly European scooters. Many of us also love new scooters, particularly Stella and Bajaj but also newer automatic scooters.
We publish an annual directory of members. We promote the membership directory as a resource for sharing information and hosting and/or helping out-of-town members.
